Dolton Comprehensive Plan Survey
The Village of Dolton is currently developing a Comprehensive Plan to guide future growth and redevelopment and identify needed improvements. To help focus this effort, the Village would like your input. Please take a few minutes to complete the web-based survey.  If you would prefer to complete the survey on paper download a print/PDF version and return it to Village Hall, 14014 Park Ave. Dolton, IL 60419.

What is a Comprehensive Plan?
A comprehensive plan is an all-inclusive approach to addressing the issue of change, future growth and the overall betterment of life for residents.

Located 18 miles south of Chicago's Loop, the Village of Dolton is known by many as 'The Gateway to the South Suburbs'. The Village's geographic location is bounded by the Village of Riverdale to the west, Interstate 94 to the east, the Little Calumet River to the South, and its larger counterpart, the Calumet River to the north. Creating the Comprehensive Plan is an important tool to address the changing conditions in Dolton. By working with the Village and its residents a collaborative planning process will begin. Through a series of interviews, hands-on workshops, and meetings we will together establish a community vision, set forth Village priorities, organize goals and create a Comprehensive Plan. This Plan is necessary to address the needs of residents and provide them with a high quality-of-life related to housing, infrastructure, land uses, and economic development.
