In conjunction with the design of the residential development within Pabst Farms’ mixed-use 1,500-acre master planned community, Teska Associates, Inc. has also developed a comprehensive park master plan for the entire community.
The Pabst Farms development is located within two Wisconsin communities: The Town of Summit and the City of Oconomowoc. The parks plan is designed as a comprehensive framework that is unique to the Pabst development as a whole while also exceeding the regulatory open space and recreational requirements of each community.
Community parks, neighborhood parks and mini parks are all components of the overall plan. Designated pedestrian connections unify park areas with immediate and surrounding residential neighborhoods. Active and passive recreational use areas are designed to preserve and highlight the unique characteristics of the site, such as the native Wisconsin kettles and woodlands.
