Teska Associates, Inc. provided Phoenix Realty and Investments with detailed site planning and design services on the 62 acre site formerly known as the Bob-A-Ron Campground in Three Oaks, Michigan. Phoenix Realty bought the property with the goal of converting the existing campground into a year round cabin resort which better responds to the natural features of the site.
Teska designers utilized portions of the existing infrastructure to site the proposed cabins. Simultaneously the design team inventoried the various natural resources on the site, and determined how to best incorporate development in and around these sensitive resources.
In addition to the cabin sites, other amenities were added or enhanced throughout the property. These include the Pinewood Lodge, an outdoor heated pool, the picnic pavilion, various sports courts, a fishing pier, two restocked lakes, and nature trails which extend to the Galien River
