Teska Associates was recently retained by the Village of Western Springs to kick-off their Downtown Redevelopment Plan and put into place a fresh, sustainable, transit oriented vision for the downtown! This web site was created to engage and inform residents and businesses in the process of creating a Downtown Redevelopment Plan. The plan will provide both short term enhancement strategies and a long-term vision for downtown Western Springs. Community input will be critical to the success of this planning effort. The Village Board, staff, and the consulting team lead by Teska Associates, Inc. is working to integrate ideas, thoughts, and suggestions supplied via workshops, meetings and the website. Participants have already taken part in an online survey and have provided many helpful comments on our Project Blog, supported by this website.
