Located adjacent to a residential area, Highland Park Hospital has had to develop long range policies and plans that accommodate necessary growth, while simultaneously respecting neighbors concerns. To help with this, the hospital enlisted the services of Teska to prepare an Environmental Master Plan.
The Environmental Master Plan is a collaborative effort which combines imagegallery from the administrative staff of the hospital, the planning staff for the City, and neighboring residents. A key component of the plan is an extensive inventory of the existing vegetation on the property. Teska staff conduct surveys where trees are tagged and recorded as to their size, health, and overall appearance. This information is then used to help guide future development in a sensitive manner.
