Located on 350-acres in the Village of Lake Barrington, Good Shepherd Hospital has taken a forward thinking approach to the management and future development of their property and its resources.
As part of an overall comprehensive Campus Master Plan, Teska conducted an extensive tree survey of the entire 350-acre site. Large communities of native oak woodlands, along with other native plant communities make up a large portion of the site. Teska landscape architects tagged and recorded these trees as to their size, health, and overall appearance. This information was then used to determine where future development could occur, along with those areas where development should not occur due to high quality existing woodlands.
