Todd Vanadilok

Senior Associate Urban Planner

Todd in a nutshell...

Eats sandwiches perimeter first, center last.
Was once mistaken at an airport for actor B.D. Wong (from Law & Order SVU).
Tries to view the glass as half full, even if the glass is really small, broken & smudged.
Believes informed decision making occurs at the intersection of accessible knowledge & creative presentation.

With 10 years of experience at Teska, Todd’s planning background includes experience in neighborhood plans, special area plans, comprehensive plans, zoning, development review, site planning, and planning and design graphics. His planning experience draws from a broad range of community sizes, ranging from land resource planning for Kendall County, IL to neighborhood planning for Aurora, IL and a variety of community types, varying from urban and suburban areas, rural areas, transit-oriented districts, and historic neighborhoods.

Todd graduated from the University of Michigan in 2001 with a Master of Urban Planning Degree. He also holds a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University. Prior to joining Teska, Mr. Vanadilok was involved in the production of a special area plan for the Northeast Area Planning district in Ann Arbor, MI. He also participated in community design charrettes for the Grand River Avenue Corridor in Detroit, MI, and the “Walk Westgate” community design project in Toledo, OH.
