Casey Stabosz – Associate
Originally a Micro and Cellular Biology major, Casey graduated from the University of Illinois in May 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture. Her longstanding passion for the environment and artistic capabilities quickly steered her on the path towards obtaining a degree in Landscape Architecture. During her time as a student, Casey became interested in the multidisciplinary aspect of landscape architecture and how all professions/skills lead to the success of a project. Casey also took a semester abroad at the University of Sheffield where she studied ecological design, sustainable social sites, and planting design.
During the summer of 2014, Casey interned at Woodland Commercial Landscapes where she learned the hands-on, outdoor side of the profession. She also gained her LEED Green Associate Accreditation to fuel her passion and aid in sustainable design practices.
Notable projects Casey is involved with include:
Residential developments (Cedar Vineyard in Port Washington, WI; Westleigh Farms in Lake Forest, IL; and JG Ventures Farm in Mequon, WI); campus design (Bannockburn Lakes Office Campus in Bannockburn, IL); and mixed-use retail development (Glenview, IL).
Casey joined Teska in June 2015 and is currently pursuing her license as a registered landscape architect in the state of Illinois.
