East Side Plan Ready for Final Review

The draft East Side Plan document (03/28/12 version) is ready for final review. The public will have the opportunity to comment on the plan at a Public Hearing scheduled for Tuesday, April 10th, at 7:00 PM at Village Hall. The plan will then be presented to the Village Board on Wednesday, April 18th, at 7:00 PM at Village Hall.

Draft East Side Plan Document Ready for Review

The draft East Side Plan document (02/20/12 version) is ready for review. The plan was developed over the past several weeks building upon community ideas from a Community Workshop, the Existing Conditions Assessment, and ongoing discussions with the Steering Committee and Village staff. The public will have the opportunity to review key aspects of the plan at a Public Open House scheduled for Wednesday, February 29th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Village Hall. We hope you can join us and offer your feedback!

The Village of Romeoville was recently awarded a 2011 Community Planning Grant from the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA). This grant will help the Village spur development and redevelopment around the Metra station and east side of the Village. The Romeoville Eastside & Downtown Plan was created to help guide and shape this development in the years to come! Please use this project website to view when up upcoming meetings are, view pictures of the study area and view draft materials as they become available. Your feedback is important to us!
