Benjamin Carlisle has six years experience working as a professional planner, including experience in zoning, land use and comprehensive planning, site planning, Tax Increment Financing, economic development, site plan review, and GIS.

Prior to joining TAI, Mr. Carlisle spent four years as planner with the City of Highland Park, IL. There, he provided staff support for the Highland Park Plan Commission, Zoning Board Appeals, Lakefront Commission and Design Review Commission. Responsibilities in Highland Park included zoning ordinance amendments, site plan review, and comprehensive planning.

Prior to working for the City of Highland Park, Mr. Carlisle was an economic development consultant for the City of Chicago Planning and Development Department.
