Doug recently joined Teska Associates, Inc. as a full-time associate after receiving his Bachelor’s Degree of Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in the spring of 2007. While at Illinois, Doug took special interest in urban design, community planning, and park/recreational design projects.

Since joining Teska, Doug has worked on a wide variety of projects consisting of community development, site planning, and residential design. Most notable is a single family development in Lake Forest, IL., which features a vineyard based community. Other projects that Doug has worked on include: Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital site plan in Mequon, WI., and the Two Gables’ property site plan in Lake Forest, IL., and the Sheridan Trust property’s neighborhood design in Highland Park, IL. Currently, Doug is focusing on creating 3-D renderings of his projects at Teska to provide more realistic images of the vision for each design.

Doug’s prior experience in the field of Landscape Architecture includes summer internships at design build firms in Central Illinois, where he worked as a laborer on design installation crews. Doug is currently working toward becoming a Registered Landscape Architect in the state of Illinois.
