MICHAEL
HOFFMAN, AICP, RLA
Vice President/ Principal
Mr. Hoffman has over 15 years of experience serving the needs
of local governments and private developers. He has served
as project manger for over 10 comprehensive plans, predominately
for small and mid-sized communities and counties. His practice
has focused on business district and corridor revitalization,
development review, and preparation of modern zoning and appearance
codes. Landscape architectural assignments have ranged from
large scale land planning for a 1,500 acre mixed use development
to landscape design for the Algonquin Village Hall.
Mike holds an MBA from Texas A&M University and a BLA
from the University of Illinois. He served as Chairman of
the Mount Prospect Plan Commission and the Downtown Strategic
Plan Ad hoc Committee. Prior to joining TAI, he held positions
with J.T. Dunkin & Associates in Dallas TX and with the
City of Allen TX. Current assignments include development
of a Comprehensive Plan for Plainfield, a Unified Development
Ordinance for Galesburg, a Downtown Redevelopment Plan for
North Aurora, and development review for several municipalities.
