Steve’s experiences include the development of design guidelines for commercial, residential, and industrial land uses; conceptual site designs for numerous downtowns and key development corridors; comprehensive planning; land use planning; neighborhood planning; tax increment financing studies; authoring and revising zoning, subdivision, and other municipal codes/ordinances; and development review. Since joining TAI, he has also provided continuing planning services for numerous Illinois communities.

He holds a Bachelors degree in Urban Planning and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as a Masters degree in Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati. He also brings his clients expertise from his prior professional positions with the City of Highland Park, IL; the Will County Land Use Department, IL; the Hamilton County Environmental Priorities Project, OH; and the Village of Tinley Park, IL.
