“The Grove” in River Hills: Teska Unanimously Selected for 53 Acre Subdivision

Skiing through a competitive submittal process, the River Hills Village Board unanimously selected Teska’s proposal for a residential open space conservation project on coveted Village property.

Anticipated to include 25 acres of single-family homes with the remaining 28 acres preserved as green space, the community acquired the land so they could control and select the best balance of creativity and effective use of open space and home placement.

“The Village is looking at what it can do to build future tax base for the community… which is important to help pay for government services.”

- Village Manager Tammy LaBorde

As featured in the Milwaukee Business Journal, the Teska site plan and coordinated architecture create a true sense of place for the planned neighborhood. Features built into the site design include integration of stormwater management with abundant open space and wetland natural area trails.

Future residents will enjoy picking up their mail and safely socializing at the farmstead common area clubhouse, taking a swim in the pool, playing lawn games, or visiting the floral cutting and vegetable gardens and tree orchard groves. A key site design theme allows each homeowner to easily access birds, bees, trails, and trees by simply stepping out their back doors.

“The River Hills Village Board unanimously approved that development agreement for the project, which is expected to have a property value of at least $40.5 million by 2029.”
